Hotel Villa Delle Palme is one of the most ancient Liberty's Villas in the Lido. This building was built in 1906 and it was used as a private mansion and since then kept the original structure, characterized by a huge big hall and a big stair, which connects the three floors of the Hotel, reaching the panoramic terrace viewing Lido and the Venice lagoon. Looking from the upper balcony (it is the second highest tower in the Lido) you can admire a magnificent scenery on the Venetian Lagoon, S.Mark's Square and the rest of the area. This posting place has been used by many professional photographers because of its original position.

This Villa is situated in a big and green palm garden and this is why is named Villa Delle Palme. The Villa Delle Palme is one of the most ancient buildings from the Liberty period. It was built as a private mansion in 1903 and still maintains its original structure with a big venetian central hall and a staircase leading to the three floors on the top, where there are three panoramic balconies facing on the marvellous Venetian Lagoon. All the rooms are furnished with every modern comfort: Private facilities, Air-Conditioning, Tv-Sat, Radio, Direct Phone, Direct ADSL internet connection, Minibar, Safety-Box, Hairdryer. Big and very quiet garden available for our clients and three panoramic terrace overlooking the Lagoon of Venice on the top floor of the Villa for relax and sun-bath. There is also an Internet Point available for the guests. Free private parking for the cars in the garden of the Villa. This Villa is situated in a peaceful place. Its position is quite convenient: it takes just a few minutes to reach the shady Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta (the Grand Avenue) which is considered the centre of the island and takes to the beach. On request, it is also possible to rent sun umbrella or cabin. The hotel is also close to the water bus (vaporetto) stop to go to San Marco Square and the famous island of Murano, Burano, Torcello.

By train:From Venezia-Santa Lucia station: we advise you to take a public vaporetto: number 51 or number 1. A constant vaporetto N (Night) service is also available. Dandolo, no. 12.From Treviso San Giuseppe airport (TSS): we advise you to take the shuttle service that links Treviso airport with the Venice bus and vaporetto terminal in Piazzale Roma. Use the public ferry-boat service that leaves from Tronchetto pier, located at the end of the long bridge that links Venice with the mainland. Approximate cost for a small car: 10.00 Euro one way. On driving off the ferry-boat in Lido, take an immediate right and follow the road which runs alongside the lagoon for circa three minutes, until you reach a square with lots of buses. Cross the square and continue straight ahead.Pass the bridge and take the second road on the left, Via E. Dandolo. Villa delle Palme is on the right hand side, at no. 12.
