Built in 1905 in Renaissance style, the building was enriched in 1914 by covering the entire facade with polychrome majolica tiles. The work, created by Luigi Fabris, the famous ceramist from Bassano was completed before World War I; it is a unique Venetian example of the widespread of a Viennese flavour for facade decoration, popular throughout Europe at the time.
