The hotel is situated very near to the Santa Maria Novella station, a little distance from the Palazzo dei Congressi and the Fortezza da Basso. It is also approximately 600 metres from Duomo cathedral. It is located on the third floor of a building in Alamanni Street, which was built at the beginning of the 20th century and is divided into 12 rooms with wide bright windows and views overlooking the hills of Florence, Piazzale Michelangelo, the church of San Miniato, and other important monuments.

The hotel is in front of the central train station S. Maria Novella in the city centre. It is close the congress centre, piazza Duomo and all the other monuments of Florence. All the rooms are quiet and sunny. The windows look out onto the most important monuments and have a view on the hills around Florence. The hotel is on the third floor of an historic building of the 19th century. There is a private elevator to reach the hotel. We have 12 rooms 8 double, 3 triple, 1 quadruple for total 30 persons very quiet and sunny. The windows look out onto the most important monuments and have a view on the hills around Florence. All the rooms have private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, heating, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone with direct outside dialling, safe, bar-fridge, internet connection and fax on request. Maria Novella so are available all the train, all the bus of Florence with connection for Chianti, Siena, Pisa and airport with bus in 20 minutes of travel every 30 minutes.

How to arriveFor arrive to Hotel Aurora by carfrom the south you have to go out from the motorway A1 tool booth FIRENZE SUD, then follow the indication VIALI CIRCONVALLAZIONE follow all the belt avenue passing from the following square (this square are easy to recongnize because you can see the old door of the old city wall) PIAZZA BECCARIA, PIAZZA DELLA LIBERT, FORTEZZA DA BASSO (congress centre), passing the train underpass you arrive in PORTA AL PRATO here after the city door turn left canging direction (you pass again on the side of the city door), now after the 2nd traffic light turn right in VIA JACOPO DA DIACCETO, the straight on keeping on the right so you arrive on VIA LUIGI ALAMANNI her follow to the number 5.from the north and Tyrrenian sea you have to go out from the motorway A1 and A11 tool booth FIRENZE NORD, as soon you are out of the motorway (end indication) go on the second on the right and follow the indication STAZIONE PORTA LA PRATO- VIALI DI CIRCONVALLAZIONE so you are on a bridge go out on the 1st on the right fllowing the indication STAZIONE PORTA LA PRATO- VIALI DI CIRCONVALLAZIONE now you are on VIA BARACCA continue straight on yiou pass on a bridge to PIAZZA PUCCINI, VIA DEL PONTE ALLE MOSSE, here at the end you find in front of you PORTA AL PRATO (the old door of the old city wall) here you go right and keep soon on the left following the indication STAZIONE (you pass again on the side of the city door in the other direction), now after the 2nd traffic light turn right in VIA JACOPO DA DIACCETO, the straight on keeping on the right so you arrive on VIA LUIGI ALAMANNI her follow to the number 5.By train At the central station of Florence SANTA MARIA NOVELLA go on the end of the rail, turn right go down the stairs on the side ARRIVI (arrivals) of the station, cross the traffic light in front of the station, turn right on the side walk and after 10 m you are in front of the no, 5 of VIA LUIGI ALAMANNI, here take the elevator and you are arrived.
