The hotel was built in 1953, and since then several refurbishments have taken place, the most important one being the one that finished in 1993. Since then, an intensive plan of daily maintenance works to allow us to keep a high level of quality.

Situated five minutes from the main square Plaza de Espana, in the upmarket Chamberi area and just five minutes away from Tribunal and Chueca zones. It is surrounded by shopping centres and has good access to the main tourist attractions. The nearest underground is San Bernardo. Madrid Barajas Airport can be reached in approximately 30 minutes.

Elegantly decorated in a classical and attractive way. The marbled bathrooms are also very exquisite and fully equipped with amenities and hair dryer.

Serves both international and local dishes. There is an American bar in one of the public areas and a tea room decorated in a British colonial style.

The 3 parts of the building were built in 1953, completely renovated in 1993 and slightly renovated once again in 2002. It offers a total of 143 guestrooms spread over 8 floors, of which 23 are singles, 113 are doubles and 7 are suites. The hotel lobby offers a 24-hour reception with a safe for guests' valuables and a lift. In addition, the hotel provides a TV room, a cafe, a cosy bar and an air-conditioned a la carte restaurant with separate non-smoking area. Business guests may make use of the conference room and the Internet access (with WLAN). Additional services include a room and laundry service as well as medical assistance. The hotel has its own parking facilities for guests arriving by car and a play area for younger guests.
