All the 222 bedrooms are uniformly comfortable - however, no two rooms are the same. No carbon copy branding here! The hotel has updated to keep up with the times whilst remaining sympathetic to its original Victorian features - which are still visible throughout. Rooms feature of auto-dial telephones, colour TV, hospitality tray, hair-dryer and en-suite bathrooms. All rooms are spacious and airy due to the very high ceiling heights.The Scots have always had a most distinctive cuisine which you can enjoy in the charming Entresol Restaurant. Choose from either the a la carte menu or the traditional carvery. The Lounge offers you a wee bite whenever you want and there are some marvelous malts and fine whiskies in either of the bars. Many a glorious banquet has been held at the Quality as well as a number of important conferences.

Some of the rooms are refurbished in a more modern and neutral style, while some are still more traditional in style. Rooms are very large in size with extremely high ceilings, giving a spacious and airy feel.

Light snacks are served in the lounge area, whilst the restaurant offers carvery, table d'hote and à la carte menus. There is also a new modern bar on the first floor, which becomes popular at weekends.

The lobby is very large and opens onto the street. There is also access from the train station. The lobby has also recently been renovated and now has an elegant marble floor. Seating is available for guests.

From the SouthExit M8 at Junction 19. Left hand lane, turn left into Argyle Street. Turn left onto the Broomielaw. At the second set of traffic lights turn left onto Oswald Street. First right into the N.C.P park on the fifth floor. Enter the station at Platform 13 and walk down into the station and the Quality Hotel Central, Glasgow.24 hour rate £5.00

Travelling by car: from M8, Junction 19, follow signs to the City Centre. Into Argyle Street, and turn into Hope Street. After 100 yards, turn left, and the hotel is situated on the right, adjacent to Glasgow Central Station.
