Renewed in 2006 and located in the centre of Barcelona, next to the Ramblas, the Gothic quarter is only 5 minutes walking and with all the major attractions are just a walk away. We are also very well connected with the subway, bus to the Airport and Touristic Bus. With its recent completed renovation (2006), Hotel Principal combines classical charm with modern hotel comfort. All of our rooms are equipped with all the facilities you will need for a comfortable stay.

This outstanding hotel is located in the Raval quarter, on the right side of the Las Ramblas. It is 3 minutes away from the famous avenue, Boqueria Market, MACBA and the Gothic Quarter, and near many remarkable landmarks.

The rooms have been completely renovated. All rooms features satellite TV, air conditioning, heating, safe box, en-suite bathroom, telephone and double-pane windows; some have balconies and and new bathrooms. The décor is traditional and pleasant. The new rooms offer plasma screen and a laminate floor.

A restaurant is not available, but there is a spacious, unique and bright breakfast room.

The small lobby offers a spare sitting area; next to it there is a larger lounge area.

The exterior is composed of three attached buildings, all with a traditional architectural style. The facade is in good condition.
