The Alimara is a first class hotel and is situated in the upper area of the city, known as the Vall d'Hebron district. It is the perfect location, providing easy access to the city center and Plaça Catalunya, which is approx. 10 minutes by underground. The hotel is a new, functional, modern style building which was inaugurated in 1995. All rooms come with splendid views over Barcelona and the garden of the Collserola Nature Reserve.

This hotel is situated in uptown Barcelona, in the Vall d'Hebron district, near the Ronda de Dalt. Mundet metro station (green line) is only one minute away and just eight stops from the old town, a journey of less than 15 minutes! Easy access to the nearby cities and the motorway. Next to the lobby you will find a Bar Hall with direct access to the garden terrace. The building is newly constructed and boasts the most outstanding design features. The architect Oscar Tusquets has created a special, light-filled building, almost sculptural, divided into nine terraced storeys, with vast arches linking rooms and huge glazed secluded places.
A panoramic lift provides views of Collserola Park, whilst the hotel garden lies amidst lovely mimosa, acacia and arbutus.
