This townhouse style property is located on Elmbank Street, just a 2 minute walk from the lively restaurants and bars of Sauchiehall Street. The SECC and international airport are both just a short drive. The hotel is also close to Charing Cross station.

Rooms are quite simply stunning. Contemporary in design, all are elegantly furnished with classy touches throughout. A good nights sleep is guaranteed on these large comfortable beds. Facilities include large plasma televisions and dvd players. Rooms vary in size due to the townhouse style of the hotel, but they are generally of a large size, with high ceilings and large windows.

An excellent breakfast is serves at the hotel and provides a superb selection of hot and cold foods, as well as tradtional Scottish specalities. Although there is no onsite restaurant, the close proximity to the city centre means that guests are only a short walk from the fantastic selection of bars and resturants in the centre of Glasgow.

Small in size, the lobby is a corridor leading to the small reception. There is however a lounge area to one side, with comfortable seating where guests can relax and read newspapers etc.

The former townhouse was restored in 2006 and now sparkles with all its former glory, with an elegant and comfortable atmosphere. Service in the hotel is limited, but there is a bar on the ground floor, which guests are invited to visit, as well as a reception area.

Leave Glasgow International Airport and take M8 motorway heading to the City Centre. Come off at Charing Cross Junction 18. Take a left at the first set of traffic lights, turn left at second set of traffic lights onto St Vincent Street. Take right at third set of traffic lights onto Elmbank Street. Arrive at your destination on the left.

From M8 Westbound:- Take junction 18 off M8 motorway (fast lane exit on right hand side of the motorway, signed for Charing Cross and Kelvingrove). On sliproad stay in the left hand lane and follow road to a set of traffic lights, road veers to the left. You are now on Sauchiehall Street, take the 1st street on the right to arrive in Elmbank Street. Best Western Glasgow City Hotel is straight ahead. From M77/M8 Eastbound:- Take junction 18 off M8 motorway signed for City Centre. At the end of the sliproad take the first road on the left at the traffic lights. You will come to a second set of traffic lights, go left. At the third set of traffic lights take a right and you will arrive on Elmbank Street and the hotel is on your right hand side.
