The hotel is located in the heart of the city next to George Square. Queen's Street mainline station is adjacent to the hotel. An excellent central location close to the shopping area. Queen's Street station also offers a direct line to Edinburgh in less than 40 min. All the rooms are furnished to the highest standard, and are large in size. The furnishings are luxurious and the decor is quite traditional, but with all the technological innovations expected of a brand new deluxe hotel. The bathrooms are also all in excellent condition. All rooms have their own complimentary mini-bar, ironing board and iron, and safe box. The restaurant is located on the seventh floor of the building, with fabulous views of the city. It is very tastefully decorated and serves a modern menu. Small and furnished in deep wood and marble flooring. An open fire is also available during the winter to provide a warm welcome to guests arriving. A beautiful building redeveloped as a hotel in 1999. It has an elegant entrance and is prominent within the city as one of the best hotels. Parking is available for guests at the hotel, but this is at a local car park, not on site. By car - leave the M74 at Jct 4 and follow the M8 west into central Glasgow. Turn off the M8 at Jct 18 Charing Cross. Leaving the motorway, keep left and turn left into Sauchiehall Street. 3 blocks later, turn right into Pitt St, then take the fifth left into West George Street. Continue ahead along West George St into George Square, where you will find the hotel on your left on the corner with North Hanover St. By train - the hotel is a few hundred yards from Glasgow Queen St station. Leave the station and turn right onto Bath St. Take the first right into North Hanover St, and at the bottom of the road you will find the hotel on your right in George Square.

DRIVING DIRECTIONSFrom Edinburgh (East):Approach Glasgow on the M8 motorway, exiting at Junction 15 (Glasgow Cathedral). Then follow signs for George Square, and follow the one-way system (shown on map in blue arrows) to West George Street.From Glasgow Airport (South):Approach Glasgow city centre on the M8 motorway, exiting at Junction 18 which leads onto Bothwell Street. Turn 4th left onto West Campbell Street, then 2nd right onto West George Street. Follow West George Street down the hill and round the church at the bottom - the hotel is just after the church on the left-hand side of the road.
