Express by Holiday Inn Stoke (***) is located on the outskirts of the city, in the Trentham Lakes Business Park, which is adjacent to the conference facilities at Britannia Stadium. This makes it ideal for the business traveller, but it also gives easy access to Alton Towers and the leisure attractions at Trentham Forest. The Best Western Stoke on Trent Moat House (****) is located on the Festival Park, where Waterworld is found. A budget option in the same sort of area would be Plough Motel (**). Hanley is the city centre and the location of the Cultural Quarter. If you’d like to stay in this area you could try the Quality Hotel Stoke-on-Trent (***). The hotel was built in 1890 and has a lovely Victorian façade. To stay within walking distance of the most famous potteries including Churchill’s and Wedgewood, book a room in Longton, perhaps at the Crown Hotel (**).
