As the capital of the island, Santa Cruz is a major tourist centre and is well equipped with a substantial number of hotels and other lodging options.

One of the most luxurious hotels in Santa Cruz is the 5-star Sheraton Mencey Hotel which is located in the heart of the resort, in a residential area opposite García Sanabria Park and close to most of the town’s main attractions.

If the prices make your eyes water, you may want to consider an alternative upper-end hotel, such as the 4-star Escuela Santa Cruz Hotel, which will not do quite so much damage to your wallet.

An excellent mid-range Santa Cruz hotel is the 3-star Tanausu Hotel, which enjoys a plum position between the resort’s old town and its commercial and business area, providing easy access to both.

For those on a budget, the 2-star Pelinor also boasts a central location, whilst being close to Las Teresitas beach, which more than compensates for the hotel’s basic amenities.
