Richmond upon Thames Hotels

The 4* Richmond Hill Hotel has premier position at the top of the hill with great views overlooking the borough. Combined with a close proximity to the park and excellent cuisine, the hotel is a popular venue for weddings. The 3* Petersham Hotel is situated further down the hill in between St Margarets and Richmond station and enjoys great views of the river from an elevated vantage point. Further down, the 3* Duke’s Head Inn presents good value and is located equidistant between the green, the park and the station in the bustling town centre.

If you would like to stay on the river itself, the 3* Riverside Hotel is located by the river Thames on Petersham Road with easy access to Kew Gardens and Twickenham. The 3* Coach and Horses on Kew Green is also based near the riverfront, a stroll down the river from Richmond and presents good value B&B. Botanists should head for the 3* Kew Gardens Hotel on Sandycombe Road. A few minutes from Kew station and the botanical gardens, the hotel is still close to Richmond and all it has to offer. In addition, there is a 3* Travel Lodge next to Kew Bridge and a few minutes from Kew station.

There are a lot of options for rugby fans in Twickenham including the 3* Marriot London, next to the Stadium itself and the 3* Carlton Mitre, a mile down the river near Hampton Court.
