Puerto de la Cruz is one of the principal tourist resorts in Tenerife and it is no surprise that it is home to a vast choice of hotels and other accommodation options.
One of the very finest hotels in the resort is the 5-star El Botanico, which is surrounded by six acres of landscaped tropical gardens with spectacular views. The one downside to this Puerto de la Cruz hotel is that the nearest beach is around 1.5km away.
For accommodation in Puerto de la Cruz with a beachside location, the 4-star y Gran Hotel Turquesa Playa Apartments, located to the west of the resort’s centre, is just 100 meters from Playa Jardan beach.
A good mid-range option for a hotel in Puerto de la Cruz is the 3-star Rural Victoria Hotel, located in a pedestrianised area of the resort, with the beach and port just 200 metres away.
For budget Puerto de la Cruz accommodation, the 2-star Acuario should satisfy most of your requirements, though you should be aware that this hotel is a bus ride from the coast, and therefore may not be suitable for families with children who require easy access to the beach.
