About Puerto Pollensa

Puerto Pollensa has been popular with tourists since the 1920's, and the hotels on the sea front still retain an old-fashioned ambience, having been built long before the concrete boom of the 1960's.

Most of the developments since then have centred around the port area, and you may want to select one of the Puerto Pollensa hotels that is close to this area.

The 3-star Diana Hotel overlooks the port and boasts an incredible saltwater pool with solarium on the edge of the sea in front of the hotel

One of the few 5-star hotels in Puerto Pollensa is the Barcelo Formentor. This 13th century property is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and is located on the Formentor peninsula, half-a-mile north east of the resort’s centre, just 300 metres from one of the most beautiful beaches on Mallorca.

An excellent budget option is the 2-star Hotel Eolo, which was built in 1958 and was one of the first hotels in Puerto Pollensa It is situated in a prime location in the heart of the town, opposite the marina and only a few minutes walk from beautiful, sandy beaches.
