The city centre is where you can find the most exclusive hotels in Munich. Two of the best hotels here are the 5-star Bayerischer Hof and the 4-star Platzl.
The Nymphenburg-Neuhausen district, in the north west of the city, is perhaps the most picturesque part of Munich, and is home to a number of nice hotels. The 3-star Hotel Orly and the 4-star NH München Deutscher Kaiser, which has an English garden on its grounds, would both be good choices.
In the districts of Schwabing and Maxvorstadt, north of the city centre, there are also several hotels. The 4-star Hotel Europa is close to many of the city's best museums, while the stunning Hotel Mercure Schwabing would also be an excellent choice in this area.
Other notable Munich hotels include the 5-star Park Hilton, located north of the city centre, which boasts three restaurants, a casino and a nightclub. The 3-star Hotel Montree is also well-positioned, north west of the centre and near to some of the best nightlife in Munich.
