Accommodation in Magaluf is generally functional, rather than luxurious, catering towards younger crowds that have a smaller budget and will not be here to spend too much time in a hotel.
Virtually all hotels in the resort are within a 10 minute walk from the famous Magaluf 'Strip', the centre of Magaluf's nightlife. There are also a number of Magaluf hotels overlooking the bay, although some charge extra for rooms with sea views.
One of the few high-end hotels in Magaluf is the 4-star Atlantic Park. Located south of the town centre, this hotel is situated in a quiet area of Magaluf, but still very close to the commercial centre of the resort.
For a beachside location, the 3-star Costa Portals Hotel would be an excellent choice. Situated in the area of Portals Nous in Magaluf, this hotel is slap bang in the resort’s centre whilst also being just 150 metres away from the beach.
For a real budget option close to the action, the 1-star Kensington Apartments are located only 100 metres from the centre of the resort, and 50 metres from the well-known Bananas night club and Bar Poco Loco on ‘The Strip’.
