The Lara district is home to several ultra-luxury hotels, many of which are set in the Kundu area of the resort, lending it the tag of the "Turkish Vegas”.
One of the best 5-star hotels in Lara is the Mardan Palace, which has a superb beachside location as well offering spectacular views of the nearby Beydaglari mountains. This hotel also boasts an ampitheatre which hosts regular shows and performances, as well as aquariums reflecting the varying compositions of the world’s oceans.
If that sounds a little too ostentatious, you may prefer to come down a couple of notches and stay in a mid-range hotel, though to do so you will need to venture a little out of the resort. The 3-star Prima Hotel, located 4km west of Lara, would be a good choice.
A little further west is the 2-star Guney Brabant Hotel, which is a great choice for those who want to be near Lara, but haven’t got the budget for one of its high-end hotels.
