About Illetas

Hotels in Illetas are all 4-star and above, and are aimed at professional couples and families who have come to enjoy the cultural pursuits of nearby Palma, as opposed to the raucous nightlife that can be found in other resorts on the island.

The resort only has one small public beach, which often gets crowded, and so you may want to stay in one of the Illetas hotels that has its own private beach, reserved for the use of its guests.

One such hotel is the 5-star Melia de Mar, which is situated on a rocky headland overlooking the Bay of Palma. The hotel is 500 metres from an 18 hole golf course and is also just 5km from central Palma.

Another excellent high-end choice would be the 4-star Bon Sol. This Illetas hotel is decorated with antique furniture, beautiful paintings and precious porcelain which serve to create the atmosphere of a medieval castle.
