Most hotels in Graz are based around the Inner City and near to the River Mur. One of the best hotels in this area is the 4-star Hotel Schlossber, located on the banks of the river, just 300 metres from the historic city centre.
A number of hotels line the riverfront stretch of Grieskai, on the western banks of the river, such as the family-run 4-star Grand Hotel Weitzer, which boasts an eye-catching Art Deco exterior.
Several brand hotels are clustered around the Europaplatz, offering a relatively central location, as well as being just moments from the Graz train station. Graz hotels in this area include the 3-star Ibis Graz and the 4-star Hotel Daniel.
Head to the west and along the Keplerstrasse to find several top-quality accommodation options. Located on the Schlogelgasse are two excellent and reasonably priced 4-star options, the Hotel Gollner and the Augarten Hotel, the latter of which boasts superb panoramas from its rooftop terrace.
For those on a budget, the 2-star Johannes Hotel benefits from an extremely central location, and is just moments from Graz’s historical centre.
