Hotels in Dijon can be mostly found in the centre of town, with a few others clustered right around the outskirts. The prices are generally lower for the hotels further away from town, but there is still plenty of choice closer in, with the odd luxurious hotel also to be found.
For those who prefer to stay in the centre of Dijon, a good 2 star option is the Hotel de Paris, which lies within a short walk of Dijon's historical heart of Avenue Foch, as well as handy tourist information centre. Not only being a good base for a walk around town, the hotel itself is also very clean and comfortable.
For guests who prefer to stay slightly away from it all, a clean and friendly 3 star option is Hotel la Bombierre, which is located on the hills of a 13th century village and offers up some great views of Dijon's town and all that is around it. Hotel Inn Dijon is also a stretch away, but as it is based in the technological park, it would be a more convenient location for those more interested in the commercial and sport side of things.
The cost of a Dijon hotel suddenly soars with the remarkably grandiose Sofitel Dijon La Cloche. Only a couple of minutes walk from the shops and the older part of Dijon, is it also suitably equipped with a variety of modern rooms and amenities.
