About Darwin

There is an excellent range of accommodation options in Darwin, with popular areas for hotels including Buffalo Court, Daly Street, East Point Road, Packard Place and Woods Street, all located in the city centre.

Mitchell Street and the coastal Esplanade, overlooking Darwin Bay, are also popular places to stay, with several luxury hotels based here. Located on Mitchell Street is the surprisingly affordable 5-star Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Set amongst tropical beachside gardens is another 5-star hotel, the Skycity, which is Darwins premium boutique hotel, and is located just moments from the Central Business District.

On the Esplanade you will find some excellent 4-star hotels, including the Holiday Inn, the Mantra and the Novotel, all of which offer superb views of the harbourfront. Those looking for budget accommodation will also find the 2-star Palms City Hotel in this area.

Another good value hotel in Darwin is the 2-star, suitably-named Value Inn, located in the city centre, a short walk from Dawin’s commercial centre, shopping restaurants and pubs.
