Cordoba has the majority of its accommodation situated in the centre of town, which is where both its commercial centre and historical points of interest lie. The costs are generally highest here, although budget and mid-range hotels in Cordoba are on offer, depending on the quality of the location. Nevertheless, there are also some quieter residential areas only a few minutes outside of the city, which are also at the lower-end of the price scale. However, with regards to value for money, a good area to stay in is by the lake, on Ronda de Isasa, where you will find plenty of cheap, good Cordoba hotels.
One street away from the lake on Cardinal Gonzalez is the 1 star Santa Ana Hostal, which has plenty of comfortable rooms on offer and is perfectly located in the heart of the Jewish Quarter. Located ten minutes from the centre in residential area Poeta Alonso Bonilla, the Occidental Cordoba Hotel also represents the budget-end, but with spacious natural landscapes as well as swimming pools and tennis courts, it is ideal for guests who want to spend the evening away from the city after a day of sight-seeing.
Mid-range hotels begin to take you further into the centre and Hotel Macia Alfaros is one of the best bets in this range as it is only a few minutes walk from both the commercial centre and Cordoba's historical and cultural points of interest.
At the higher-end of the scale is the Cordoba Center Hotel, which is also within reach of the city's main attractions, but also offers up perfect relaxation tools in the form of a sauna and a swimming pool.
