Calas de Mallorca is perched high on a clifftop, giving the large hotels that dominate the town centre a dramatic feel. The resort is lacking in high-end accommodation and if you’re wanting something luxurious then you’ll have to venture out. The 4-star Blau Mediterraneo Hotel is situated north of Calas de Mallorca, on the Sa Coma beachfont overlooking the natural and protected area of Punta dAmer. There are numerous mid-range hotels in Calas de Mallorca, and an excellent choice would be the 3-star Hotel America. Situated just north east of the town centre and close to the beach, it has very pretty views from its rooms.
