Much of Antalya’s accommodation consists of boutique hotels and cheap pensions, but there is also a fair selection of traditional tower block hotels outside of the city centre.
One of the best is the 5-star Sheraton Voyager Resort and Spa, which is located in lush gardens, close to the superb Konyaalti Beach, 1 km west of the centre of Antalya.
Another popular area for Antalya hotels is the old quarter of Kaleici, which boasts Roman ruins and picturesque narrow winding streets. This neighbourhood is good for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city centre. An excellent 4-star hotel in this part of town is Tutav Adalya, which is 100 metres from the attractive Old Harbour.
Kaleici is also a good place to find atmospheric, inexpensive pensions and hostels. In recent years many of the cheap pensions have been upgrading their facilities and have subsequently hiked up their prices. The one negative of staying in Kaleiçi is its lack of beachside location, but both Konyaalti Beach to the west and Lara Beach to the east are accessible by public transport.
A good budget option near the city centre is the 1-star Mahper Hotel, located in the Konyaalti district, just 200 metres from Konyaalti beach.
