Many visitors to Albuefeira come for the village’s superb beaches, and there’s a huge selection of hotels within easy reach of the resort’s renowned stretches of golden sand.
The 4-star Hotel Vila Gala Praia, west of the village centre, is just 2 minutes walk down hill to a wonderful beach and is also near a number of amenities including shops and restaurants.
Another excellent option would be the 5-star Sheraton Pine Cliffs Vacation Club, which is located east of the centre, on a cliff top setting near Falesia Beach. This Albuefeira hotel boasts a golf course that stretches into landscaped gardens of pine trees, mosaic pathways, wooden bridges and streams.
The 4-star Porto Bay Falesia overlooks Praia da Falésia in the charming town of Olhos de Água, east of Albufeira centre. This hotel is close to the beach and is surrounded by abundant green landscape.
A good mid-range choice is the 3-star Turial Park Apartments Turisticos. This aparthotel is located in the historic centre of Albufeira 100 metres from the fisherman's beach.
