Zurich Airport is Switzerland's major international gateway and largest air hub. It is situated in Kloten, 7 miles north of Zurich city centre. The airport is often referred to as Zurich Kloten Airport, or just Kloten Airport because of this. Zurich is an important financial centre, and as such, the airport handles a high number of business travellers making the journey between the city and key business destinations such as London, New York, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Singapore, Geneva, Chicago and Tokyo. Swiss International Air Lines, the primary airline of Switzerland has its main hub at the Airport, offering flights from Zurich to destinations around the world.
